Lab 06 - spatial analysis
This lab is a gratefully modified version of lab 6 from Bradley A. Shellito’s Introduction to Geospatial Technologies p442
The goals for you to aim for in this lab:
- Build simple and compound database queries
- Extract the results of a query into separate GIS layers
- Count the number of features within the boundary of another feature
- Overlay two features for spatial analysis
- Create and use buffers around objects for spatial analysis
